Framework for Learning with Virtual Escape Rooms – 3D environment with external authentication to an external server. It has badging systems, 2D mini-games, time management, hints, clues and imediate feedback. Thus, it also has a Web-based rewards system.

World Building, Narrative, Design and PCG

The PCG to generate procedural resources of any type and to use those from the library. The design is based on a narrative that guides students through a specific learning path with difernt points of interest, with a focus on inclusion for people with specific learning, visual, or hearing impairments.

immersive Environments’ authoring tool

A customizable system platform that allows different types of multimedia content to connect to interactive objects integrated into the environment.




Iterative cycles

This study has been underway since 2021 and has involved several iterative cycles of DBR with the collaboration of various master’s students.
The latest iterative cycle is still ongoing… and will conclude shortly.

# Other Projects with Teachers

These projects were used in training and awareness-raising activities for (future) teachers regarding the potential of IEERs in the classroom, depending on the educational level, grade, and subject. They allowed to improve the prototype and in its iterative cycles.
